The I-Ching (易经), also known as the “Book of Changes” or “Yijing,” is one of the most ancient and revered texts in Chinese metaphysics, philosophy, and divination. It is a foundational work in Chinese culture and has had a significant influence on various aspects of Chinese thought. The I-Ching consists of a collection of 64 hexagrams, each made up of six lines (either solid or broken) stacked on top of each other. These hexagrams are used for divination and offer profound insights into the nature of change, the interconnectedness of all things, and the way the universe operates. This text serves as a guide for understanding and navigating the complexities of life and the cosmos.
